Dr. Anser Abbas graduated from McMaster University with an an Honours Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2020. Following this, he completed training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. In July 2022 he completed a 2-year residency in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences, where his research thesis focused on optimizing back pain care for older patients.

To focus on her patient-based interests, she devoted several hundred hours to volunteering in hospitals, community health centres, and eventually embarked on a non-profit medical brigade to a rural village in Honduras.
